My Father, the Janitor

My sister tagged me on Facebook in an old photo from November 1989 during my father's visit from Albuquerque, the first time I remember meeting him. Seeing it now, me and my brother on his lap, I remembered his mustache and how I used to think the janitor at my elementary school was him because he had a similar hair color and mustache. I was always wrong, but I gave him the look like he was "Dad" anyway.

Dyke March 2015

Baby Boomer dyke who asked if she could trade me her free Seattle Pride shirt for my Sinéad O'Connor shirt: I love you. Gen X dyke wearing a Hothead Paisan "Feh Muh Nist" shirt who smiled after the "I LOVE YOUR SHIRT!" from my boyfriend: I love you, too. With this heat, it might be time for tank tops, which means I'll take a fashion tip from Hothead with one that says "I Don't Do Weddings" on it, and then one that says "No Man's Woman" as a tip to Sinéad.
